I am very excited to introduce my Shamanic Training & Personal Transformational Program  "WALKING THE SHAMAN"S PATH"! A  unique, extensive, training & transformational program that includes all the basic teachings of the shamanic practice, but more importantly, A POWERFUL LIFE TRANSFORMATIONAL EXPERIENCE. 

With holding the basic belief that, “No one can take another where they have not walked themselves,” you will be trained as a Shamanic Practitioner who has walked their own personal path of self-healing. You will develop mastery of the shamanic journey and communication in the shamanic realm. Learn several core shamanic techniques, as well as advanced techniques that I have created. Also included in the training is the basic art of laying-on of hands that I have blended with Shamanism. Your training will include work with individuals, humanity, and the planet.

The program will also incorporate the modern sciences of anatomy, epigenetics and quantum physics to develop a greater foundation for more conscious work in the non-ordinary realities. THE STUDY OF SHAMANISM

In order to interact effectively in the parallel-reality of the Shamanic World, you need to be pro-active, empowered, and have the confidence to seek direct information for healing in any given situation regarding a client, humanity, or the planet. This requires the practitioner to master the ability to enter, walk, interpret, and communicate within this realm, where all the answers and healing knowledge occurs.

In this program you will master the ability to enter the doorway of the Shamanic World. One of the basic forms that will be emphasized will be the shamanic journey. With the aid of drumming and other repetitive sound techniques you will learn to go into a altered state of consciousness that allows you to enter this mystical realm. After mastering this ability you will learn how to use the information and shamanic techniques to heal and problem solve at every level of your client’s mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual being.

Although Shamanism has many different practices from its world-wide traditions, there are several core shamanic techniques that are universally shared. In this program you will learn these basic core techniques such as soul retrieval, power animal retrieval, extraction healing, past-life healing, soul remembering, ancestral healing, and elemental healing. Integrated with these core techniques is a perceptive blend of shamanic techniques that I have developed through my own practice. They include: sound, cellular, quantum, creation, systems of the body healing and destiny healings. I have also incorporated these shamanic techniques with my own form of hands on healing.

In all traditions of the shamanic studies there is the importance of accessing one’s own helpers in the form of power animals, nature spirits, guardian spirits, and the ancestors to aid the Practitioner in their healing work. In this program you will be supported as you develop these vital connections to your shamanic helpers. And most importantly, receive support to help you connect to your own ancestral shamanic tradition.

THE PERSONAL TRANFORMATIONAL PROCESS

In the process of becoming a Shamanic Practitioner, one must walk their own personal healing journey to truly be able to guide another. In this program you will be required to take this personal path of self-transformation and realization through the program’s main psychology/spiritual teaching, The Wheel of Awakening. This is a unique model that utilizes the teachings of the Medicine Wheel, Early Child Development, Transpersonal Psychology, and Eastern Spirituality. Through these teachings and transformational processes, your early childhood developmental foundation is strengthened, unhealthy false belief systems rewritten, and the divine truth of who you are is realized. The integration of personal process work with the training of basic Shamanism helps you become healthier, grounded, and more balanced with a stronger, foundation of the lower chakra system and a clearer connection to your higher chakra system. While opening and centering the self in the heart chakra the door way to the Shamanic realm. By learning and experiencing the basic techniques in your own transformational/realization process, you learn how to walk your clients through their personal process. This gives the Practitioner a greater ability to heal and serve others, humanity and the planet.

THE STUDY OF MODERN SCIENCE

The true power of Shamanism is in the ability to walk in both worlds, with one foot in the present-reality, and one foot in the parallel-reality of the shamanic realm. By mastering this discipline, one has greater ability to create profound and lasting transformational shifts in their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual being.

This program is solidly grounded in this discipline. It teaches students how to master the ability to enter and travel the parallel-reality of the Shamanic World utilizing its transformational and healing potential. While also teaching the studies of anatomy, quantum physics, epigenetics, science of the mind and evolution, to solidly place our footing in present reality.

The marriage of scientific knowledge and the ability to travel in non-ordinary reality is unique and powerful for self-transformation and healing. This combination of studies and skills produces Shamanic Practitioners that are more solidly grounded in both worlds and more powerfully effective as conscious masters of creation.

COUNSELING AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE DEVELOPMENT

To be an effective Shamanic Practitioner it’s important to genuinely connect and know how to work with various personalities to be able to reach clients at a deeper soul level. In this program you will be taught the necessary skills to confidently give a personal interview, a collect case history, and evaluate your client’s characterology. With this information you will be better able to communicate and administer to your client.

You will also learn the basic skills of transference, listening with presence, and contact while holding healthy boundaries. At a higher level of contact you will learn how to directly communicate with your clients at a soul to soul level. This is an essential skill to receive the confidence of your client so that deeper forms of healing can occur.

Shamanism is sacred and powerful work that requires a high level of professionalism and ethics. Each participant will be taught and develop the basic professionalism and ethics necessary to hold the sacred trust of their client, humanity and the planet in performing this work.

 Note: Several of these courses will be taught over the Internet on a Webcast site or as a telecourse, to  allow more time during our class meetings to focus on the transformational and Shamanic work of the program.    

THIS PROGRAM OFFERS:
“Walking the Shaman’s Path” A Training & Personal Transformational Program is a three year program consisting of 
3 classes each year, along with 8 telecourses each year. This program can be taken for personal transformation work only or students can complete the graduate program and become a Shamanic Practitioner. 

"Graduate Program" The program  offers an optional graduate program. Completion of the Graduate Program is for those students wanting to receive a Certification of a Shamanic Practitioner and will be posted on Patricia's site as a referred Shamanic Practitioner.

The graduate program will consists of a week-long vision quest at the Joshua Tree National Park in Southern California. (Note: if student is not able to do the Vision Quest in California they will be able to do their own personal Vision Quest in their own state of country.) In addition to receive a Certification student's most demonstrate a proficiency in all teachings and skills, complete healing write-ups, books reviews, oral and written exam.

PATRICIA WHITE BUFFALO BS   To learn more: About Patricia   Although I will be the main teacher for all the programs, I have invited several seasoned, knowledgeable, and well trained healing professionals. They will be teaching specific segments within the program, and will contribute their own specialties resulting in the deepening of each student's knowledge and experiences. I am fortunate to have gathered such gifted teachers and grateful to them for joining me on this exciting adventure and welcome them whole heartedly.

AMITA (Adviser & Teacher for all programs) Over the past 30 years, Amita has taught Intuition Development, the Enneagram of Personality, Women’s Retreats, Shamanic shield making, Art and Meditation. She has a private practice in Madrid New Mexico, where she works with individuals on their relationship to themselves, others and the Universal Consciousness called God. Her training includes: Alchemical Hypnotherapy with David Quigley. This form of hypnotherapy combines shamanism, meditation, intuition, and hypnosis techniques to guide individuals into discovering old patterns, helping them find answers from their own intuition. Enneagram of Personality with Helen Palmer. The study of non-dual reality through the Path of Siddha Yoga. Through this path she developed and deepened her love and devotion through the guru-disciple relationship, meditation, and chanting the names of God.

KATHY BOWER BA (Teacher for the California Program) Kathy is a warm and insightful teacher, mentor, and holistic health practitioner. She has been on the faculty of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing for over 8 years, including Assistant Dean for Year 2. Her training as a Brennan Healing Science Practitioner and Brennan Integration Practitioner & Supervisor reflects a unique synthesis of energy awareness, high sense perception, hands-on healing, and facilitating individuals and groups in personal transformation through the psych-spiritual process. Kathy is passionate about bringing awareness to the mind, body, spirit connection and empowering people to connect with their own natural gift of healing. Kathy works with clients from all over the world in her private practice and facilitates workshops internationally. Kathy’s training also includes Native American Shamanism, Tibetan Shamanism, Ancient Wisdom Teachings, Building Sustainable Groups & Intentional Communities, Conscious Conflict and is Board Certified in Clinical Hypnotherapy.

SAUNDRA STEPHEN MA (Teacher for the European Program) Saundra received her Shamanic training as one of a Council of Elders from Jane Wynote Ely of the Micmac tribe. She is a former faculty member and graduate of the Barbara Brennan School of Healing and currently works with the student healers in a process and supervisory role. Her other intensive studies include: The Center for Intentional Living, The School for Enlightenment and Healing, Hypnotherapy and Quantum Healing. In addition, Saundra is a motivational & Spiritual Life Coach, an Iyengar Yoga teacher and maintains an in-person and long-distance healing practice from Dublin, Ireland. A gifted teacher, Saundra brings her warm heart, keen perceptual skills, deep listening abilities and great sense of joy and humor to her work.

BOB CALHOUN (Teacher  for the California & New York Program)  A spiritual seeker for the past 25 years, Bob Calhoun’s travels have taken him throughout the world, including Egypt, India and China, his journeys have led him to study with many teachers.  He has studied hands on healing and Reiki for five years at the Michigan Metaphysical Society. A certified hypnotherapist under Sol Lewis and studied hands on healing and psycho-spirituality at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing.  Also studied Qigong with Michael Winn, Dr. Yang, and Ken Cohen and a registered Yoga teacher. He has also completed a three year program of the study of Shamanism with Patricia White Buffalo.

ANTARA EARTHANGEL DAVIS, BSC, (Teaches telecourses for all of the programs)   Antara is Co-director and Teacher at Twin Lotus Center in Santa Cruz, Ca. offering meditation, healings, shamanism, ceremony, and the sacred arts. She co-hosts EarthWisdom Radio show interviewing leading world teachers. Co-founder of Triple Gem Creations, she creates aromatherapy & natural healing botanical products. She apprenticed 8 years with Apache/ Mohawk Oh Shinnah  Fastwolf and was initiated into many ceremonial and healing ways. She blends 30 years of Mother Earth teachings with the Father Sky teachings of Mahayana Buddhism and offers students & client's spiritual counsel to find their way back into balance. She has offered Shamanic Sound Healings at community gatherings for over 15 years.  Her personal practice includes Reiki, sound, indigenous crystal healings, bodywork, EFT healings and more. 

STEVE BELL (Vision Quest Teacher & Guide for the Program) 
Steve is a life- long spiritual seeker and a student of Wisdom Teachings. He connects the natural world, seen and unseen, with a sense of wonder and gratitude. For years Steve was a firefight and emergency medical technician. He has studied hands-on healing and psycho-spirituality at the Barbara Brennan School of Healing, earning both a professional degree and a Bachelors of Science degree. He has also studied the body-based psycho-therapy of Core Energetics. Steve is a Steward and long-term participant of the Hero's Journey Program, a experiential program of self-discovery and transformation, inspired by the teaching of Joseph Campbell. He is a founding member of the Sacred Manhood Project, a deep group journey in self-remembrance and life-service. He is an on-going student of the Tom Brown Jr. Tracker School; Deeping his awareness and relationship with Spirit and the natural world. And completed a three-year program of the study of Shamanism with Patricia White Buffalo.
